Maria has been coaching clients since 2013. Her expertise is in global human resources, leadership development, and working at the executive level. She’s worked extensively with technology leaders at Amazon and other corporations across a variety of industries. Her previous professional roles include Executive Vice President, Apollo Health Street Technology Services and various national and global AVP / VP, HR roles at CIGNA Healthcare and CIGNA International. Key accomplishments include leading the development and implementation of HR programs and global initiatives to enable top-quartile business results, as well as recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams. Maria provided HR leadership within Amazon where she gained a deep understanding of the company culture, business practices and leadership expectations.
Maria has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of Washington, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Seattle University. Maria earned her PCC credential from the International Coaching Federation. She is certified by The Academies in neuroscience-based coaching as an executive and leadership development, career management and strengths coach and a Blanchard Certified Leadership Coach. Maria is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest InventoryR and the Emotional Capital Report 360™. She is in the process of publishing a Leader Guidebook that she looks forward to releasing in 2024! In her spare time, Maria enjoys exploring new places, meeting new people, writing, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
